Psychic & Health Fair in Central Illinois' Champaign Urbana area

Looking to get a look into your future? Or insight into a current situation in your life? Need a bit of relaxation and a break from everyday stress? Then stop by the Psychic & Health Fair at Beads N Botanicals in downtown Urbana, IL this Saturday, October 19, from 10am to 5pm.

Several readers and healers will be at this fair including the following people: 

• Amber, who uses crystal stones like other people use tarot cards. 
• Beads N Botanicals owner Catherine will be offering tarot/psychic readings.
• Jackie Owen will once again be offering insightful tarot readings. 
• Karen Gottlieb, an experienced intuitive/medium, will help people connect to their higher self, spiritual guides, and departed loved ones. 
• Marlita will be at the fair working with Reiki healing energy, chakra balancing and relaxing foot reflexology. 

Cost: $20 per 15-minute reading. Longer sessions available at additional cost.

Not only do we have seed beads available for this trunk show, but also a nice selection of strands of semi-precious gemstones (Ibril stopped by on Tuesday with LOTS of beautiful beads, so we have them displayed for sale in the classroom as well)

Fridays, October 4th, we will stay open until 7pm to allow later shopping.

If you've never participated in a bead trunk show, the concept is pretty simple. Think of a traveling bead show where you can find all sorts of treasures, but for a limited time. When the show is finished, we return whatever beads remain back to Cha Cha.

This enables us to offer you a much larger selection of beads. In the Champaign-Urbana area, you will not find a larger, more complete, or fantastic selection of seed beads than you will find at this show. We hope you will enjoy ChaCha Beads as much as we do.

Learn how to make simple loops, wrapped loops & dangles -- techniques that can be used in a wide variety of jewelry designs. Learning these techniques is an absolute necessity for those just learning how to make jewelry, because these techniques are used to create not only earrings, but also charms, pendants, and/or links in a bracelet. Learn how in just 1 hour.

Creating a Necklace: Basic Stringing

Learn how to design beaded necklaces. A great class for learning how to restring vintage or heirloom pieces. Learn appropriate stringing materials and how to properly attach clasps, as well as different necklace lengths and clasps.

The necklace pictured was designed and made by one of our talented students in a previous class.

Level: Beginner
Class Fee: $25. Includes all materials for one single-strand necklace, using beading wire and a base metal clasp.

Cleaning House: The Ins & Outs of Smudging & Clearing

Smudging has been used for centuries to rid area of negative energy or spirits. It involves burning certain dried herbs to form a smoke bath that cleanses and purifies people, objects and homes. This workshop will detail how to cleanse and bless your home and/or workspace, whether you are just moving in, or freshening it up.

You will also learn about how often and when it is appropriate to cleanse and clear your apartment, house or workplace.
