Foot Massage (reflexology)

Originally known as "reflex zone therapy" reflexology is an holistic healing method that involves pressure and massage of the reflex points on the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands. Reflex in this case refers to a sense of reflection or mirror image. (i.,e., the great toe represents the head). Reflexology techniques are applied to release congested energy from flowing freely to the organs, glands, muscles and cells of the body. Congested energy may be experienced through tender spots or "gritty" areas found during a session. The techniques performed in reflexology helps dissipate congested energy and breaks down the gritty deposits.

Reflexology can:
Relax the muscles
Normalize the glands
Increase circulation
Integrate mind, body and spirit
Send new vitality pulsating thru the body
Detect health problems before they become serious
Help reduce mental, physical and emotional tension.
Help relieve pain and send healing energy to the rest of the body.
Help the body detoxify and cleanse.

Reiki Session
Reiki is a beautiful "laying on of hands" healing art that harmonizes the body's energies. A Reiki session is performed in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, with the receiver either lying down or sitting comfortably. A sense of relaxation is most commonly felt by those who experience a Reiki session, however, other pleasant sensations may be experienced. Each session is unique, each receiver has their own experience and sensations. Aches and pains may diminish, you may feel relaxed and rejuvanated. Some simply feel a sense of peace. Reiki works on all levels - physical, mental, emotional and Spiritual.
