We are very excited to welcome a new dealer for our trunk shows. Cherry Tree offers a great variety of highly sought out, hard-to-find beads. And the retail prices are INCREDIBLE.

  Updates to Bead Trunk Show in downtown Urbana

Not only do we have seed beads available for this trunk show, but also a nice selection of strands of semi-precious gemstones (Ibril stopped by on Tuesday with LOTS of beautiful beads, so we have them displayed for sale in the classroom as well)

If you've never participated in a bead trunk show, the concept is pretty simple. Think of a traveling bead show where you can find all sorts of treasures, but for a limited time. When the show is finished, we return whatever beads remain back to Cha Cha.

This enables us to offer you a much larger selection of beads. In the Champaign-Urbana area, you will not find a larger, more complete, or fantastic selection of seed beads than you will find at this show. We hope you will enjoy ChaCha Beads as much as we do.

Bead Trunk Show Lands in Urbana, IL at Beads N Botanicals in Central Illinois

ChaCha Beads Trunk Show at Beads N Botanicals in downtown Urbana, IL will offer seed beads in Size 11, 11 hex, 10, 8, 8 hex, 6, triangles, bugles, teardrops and squares. ChaCha travelled to Hiroshima, Japan and Murano, Italy to find new and unusual beads in Fancy Finishes and Great Colors to spark your creative imagination!

Japanese seed beads are precision cut to enable you to make precise designs in woven beadwork. The newest finishes are permanent metallic and anodized beads.

For example, you will find Size 6 and size 8 beads for your kumihimo necklaces and bracelets in hard-to-find colors and finishes.

The Italian beads are different when compared to Japanese or Czech beads. The color you see is the actual color of the glass, not dyed or coated. The Pinks and Purples have real Gold in the glass, causing it to 'strike' different colors when it is made into beads. They are made in small handmade batches, not by machine like the other seed beads, making them unique. These are not available anywhere else but ChaCha Beads

The show will take place September 27, 28, & 29 and
October 4, 5 & 6th our classroom at the shop.

The show will take place April 26, 27 & 28 and May 3, 4, & 5 in our classroom at the shop.

Bead Trunk Show in Urbana, IL, Sunday, Nov 13

Bead Trunk Show, One-Day Only, at Beads N Botanicals in downtown Urbana, from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, November 13.

Cash & Carry (checks with ID)

This one-day event features the works of Jamie Bossert. Strands of precious and semi-precious stones will be available, including the following: iolite, peridot, tourmaline, garnet, citrine, carnelian, labrodorite, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, aquamarine, opal, amethyst, lapis lazuli and more.

Jewelry artists will appreciate the beauty of Jamie's work. These are incredible beads that you won't find elsewhere.

Jamie Bossert an lapidary artisan from the Blue Springs, Missouri has been fascinated with rocks  since she was 10 years old. That is when she started working with her grandfather tumbling and polishing stones to set jewelry for her grandmother, mother, and aunt.  After working in her father's industrial tool company's machinery shop, she learned  how to cut, grind and drill her own stones.  Her passion for  the simple  river rock stones, the mountains she sees in her travels,  and gemstones shows in the unique and beautiful strands of semi-precious and precious stones that she sells.

Please Note: All beads, beading supplies, and pendants normally available at Beads N Botanicals will be available at a fifteen percent discount, just for the day of the Bead Trunk Show (discount does not apply to beads from the One-Day Only Trunk Show by artisan Jamie Bossert).
